"Jersey Shore" isn't exactly drawing raves from residents in the state it represents. Seven out of ten people taking part in a new Rasmussen Reports poll say they believe MTV's hit reality series reflects poorly on the Garden State. Just three-percent feel the show is having a "positive impact" on the state's image, while 14-percent don't think the series featuring Snookie and "The Situation" is having any affect on how others view New Jersey. New Jerseyites who've seen "Jersey Shore" are even less impressed with how the show represents the state. More than 80-percent of respondents who've watched an episode say the series is harmful for the state's reputation, compared to 66-percent of those who haven't caught the show. Overall, 81-percent of those polled have heard or read about "Jersey Shore," but only 29-percent have watched the program.
