Maybe Snooki is smarter than we thought. Shockingly, the Jersey Shore star did not accept the marriage proposal that Jeff Miranda issued on the cover on Steppin' Out magazine.

After the image was released, Snooki tweeted, "Just want to set the record straight. I'm single and I'm not going to get married!"

Snooki and Miranda were photographed hooking up two weeks and he's been blabbing about it ever since.

He apparently predicted Snooki's initial reaction to the proposal, telling the magazine that although she'll be surprised when she reads it, "once she deals with the shock, I think she'll say yes. I really do. In fact, I know she'll say yes."
