TIMBALAND WAS ON SUICIDE WATCH?

Reports say that Timbaland was on suicide watch on Tuesday (August 24th) after having $2 million dollars worth of jewelry stolen from his Malibu home. According to TMZ.com, law enforcement sources said that the producer's family believed he was so distraught over losing an expensive Jacob & Co. watch -- that he would harm himself. The site also reported that the producer expected that it might have been someone he trusted.

Timbaland reportedly left his home on Tuesday and took a drive. His family because worried because they couldn't locate him around 8pm and called the police. The site said helicopters located Timbo's Escalade; ground crew pulled him over and began talking to him. At some point, the put him in a patrol car and took him home.

Deputies called for the paramedics to come and evaluate the producer. After the evaluations, they determined that he was not a threat to himself and left.

Timbaland called into a radio show yesterday and confirmed that someone stole something from him and he was very upset about it -- but he didn't try to kill himself. He said that he took a drive to clear his head, when someone got a little too worried about him and called the cops.
