TAYLOR SWIFT MAKES GENEROUS DONATION TO HOMETOWN

Taylor Swift is personally seeing to it that a playground in her hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee gets a complete rebuild after being damaged in the May floods. The singer donated $100,000 to the city to jump start the process. Work on the Kids Kingdom playground is set to begin in the spring, according to the Hendersonville Star-News. The money will also go toward repairing the city's volleyball courts.

Earlier this year, Taylor donated half a million dollars during GAC: Great American Country's telethon for flood relief in Middle Tennessee.

Taylor's new video, "Mine," premieres today (Friday, August 27th) across various networks, including CMT, MTV and VH1 beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Her new CD, Speak Now, will be released on October 25th.
