NICK AND AARON CARTER REACT TO THEIR SISTER'S DEATH; POLICE REPORT

Two brothers are facing a tremendous loss -- and dealing with it in two different ways. After the announcement that Nick and Aaron Carter's sister, Leslie, died on Tuesday (January 31), both Carter brother's made statements. Nick is intending on continuing on his solo tour and dedicating the rest of his gigs to his sister. Aaron, who is currently playing Matt in the Fantastiks on Broadway -- is taking a leave of absence from the show.
Nick said, "Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform."
Aaron said, "I am with my family spending much-needed time together as we deal with this private matter. I look forward to returning to my Fantasticks Family and performing the role of 'Matt' for all my amazing fans. I request privacy for my family and no further statements will be made at this time."
POLICE REPORT SAYS LESLIE DIED OF AN OVERDOSE
Leslie Carter, 25, reportedly died of an overdose. Though the official cause of death is still pending a completion of toxicology reports -- police reports say that Leslie suffered from a drug overdose. According to Gossip Cop, police reportedly found at least three drugs, Olanzapine, Cyclobenzaprine and Xanax, near Carter when she died.
Leslie's stepmother had reportedly told police that Leslie suffered a long history of mental illness, including depression and was acting distressed the morning of her death.
