NICKI MINAJ TALKS FAKE MARRIAGE TO DRAKE

Nicki Minaj has opened up about her fake marriage to fellow Young Money rapper Drake. In a radio interview, Nicki admitted that they decided to do the prank to get back at the blogs who publish false stories about them.

She said, "Yes, we were just being crazy and I think we were a little bit bored . . . we were just being mischievous. I said every day I see things written about me that aren't' true and I kind of wanted to give the blogs a little bit of payback." Nicki also revealed that she is single. She said, "You know I'm always single and I don't date boys . . . I don't like boys . . . I think boys are yucky and that's it . . ."

Nicki also talked about how she felt about the recent BET documentary on female emcees My Mic Sounds Nice . . . She said, "I turned on the show right when they started talking about me, and I heard 'Yeah. they just Kim Kardashian with a mic in her hand,' . . . it's funny in the black community, when you get popular, people forget that you were an underground struggling artist at one time."

She continued, "I saw so many of these girls saying stuff, 'We grindin'. . . Boo, I grinded for the past 7 years of my life and I'm not gonna feel guilty for anything I'm getting right now. They're just uneducated about how many dues I've paid . . . but I love that I was talked about on the show."

DRAKE REVEALS THAT HE DROPPED OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL

Drake has admitted that he dropped out of school against his mother's wishes when he was a teen. In a radio interview, he said, "At one point in my life, I was a kid who was lost. I knew I wanted to do music, but, I dropped out of high school against my mother's wishes, who happens to be a retired teacher. A lot of people told me it was the wrong decision, that leaving acting was the wrong decision."

He continued, "A lot of the things I was doing was not the smartest choices but passion is what drove me. I'm not advising you to drop out of school, I'm just advising you to follow your heart and if you really believe in something and you project that, I believe that it does come back to you, so, I aligned myself with great people which I feel like is the key to success and here I am."
