Beyonce has settled a legal war with a Hollywood Hills resident who claimed she "invaded his neighborhood" for a video shoot. According to TMZ.com, Philip Markowitz -- who sued Bey and her production crew back in May for allegedly trespassing onto his driveway, has claimed that he scored a 5 figure settlement to drop the case.
Markowtiz told the site, "I'm happy with the settlement, but this lawsuit shouldn't have happened in the first place. They set up on my property without asking and the settlement should send a notice to other production companies that they need to respect the rights of property owners."
Bey used a home in the Hollywood Hills to shoot the music video for "Why Don't You Love Me."
JAY-Z THROWS BEYONCE A BIRTHDAY PARTY
Jay-Z threw an intimate birthday party in NYC for his wife Beyonce's 29th birthday. According to The New York Post, he took over a restaurant, The Darby and invited some friends like Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, Kanye West, and Diddy to toast to Bey -- while DJ Cassidy was on the ones and twos.
A spy told the newspaper, "Jay brought a six-layer cake out for B, they were really affectionate. Cassidy played Stevie Wonder's 'Happy Birthday.' The party went on until 6 a.m. Both Jay and B's moms were there, but there was no sign of her father or her sister. Diddy was the last to leave. Jay filled the room with orchids."
