Britney Spears and her camp have issued a response to the sexual harassment and abuse allegations of her former body guard Fernando Flores. A statement on the pop star's website reads: "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself."
The message continues, "The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."

Meanwhile, Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent told reporters, "Kevin is satisfied that the allegations are a product of economic motives . . . They are as baseless as they seem."
Kaplan also told The Associated Press that the former body guard's allegations were investigated before the suit was filed but the accusations were unfounded.
